Out of Remington, Winchester, hornady, and federal who has your vote for best line of factory rifle ammo. This includes bullet options and weights, quality, accuracy, and value. They all have some good options but some have more complete lines. I have used all to harvest deer. Currently using hornady American whitetail in .270 130 gr interlock. I have killed the most with Remington corelock but feel federal has most complete line with more bullet options including Nosler Partition, Sierra, Accubond, Barnes, fusion, ballistic tips, and plain old power shocks. Hornady doesn’t offer 150 gr sst .270 win only 130 grain which I feel since frangible should be heavy for caliber. I guess my vote is to federal.

When i am testing any newly acquired rifle I almost always try the Federal blue box cheap stuff fist. It has been accurate out of more rifles than any other non premium ammo.

Yep, Federal. Blue box is great stuff and best bullet selection in their premium line.

I’d say Federal since you can get a wider range of bullets.

I always try the Federal Blue box stuff first if it is a rifle I don't load for. I've never found a factory load that out shot it in any of my guns. All of this commercial ammo is so accurate compared to the factory stuff I used when just starting out it makes me feel like a good shot.

I have found Federal, both blue box and premium, to be the most accurate of factory ammunition. It also chronographs much closer to published velocities than the others.

The Hornady stuff is good in my 6.5, but Federal has a better overall line.

I've always had good performance with Hornady, but to specifically answer your question; Federal.

If I need to pick up a box of factory usually go with federal or Remington. I have a few oddball Nosler or Hornady boxes but not many.

There are many characteristics involved with ammo. The characteristic that is most important to me is accuracy. The round that I always come back to is the Remington Core Lokt 30-06 150g. The CL does better than most of boutique ammo that I've tried, I don't know why I buy it. When I leave for a hunt I always grab the green box.

Tough to top Hornady Precision Hunter ammo. Newer so most probably hasn’t used it yet.
