For sale is a Remington 600 Mohawk rifle. This rifle came to me through my brother who obtained it from someone else. That “someone else” said this rifle, originally chambered in .222, was re-chambered to .223. The barrel is still marked .222 with no reference to the .223 conversion. The rate of twist is 1:14. Apparently the 222 to 223 conversion is a simple task that can even be done without removing the barrel (learned that on the Internet). Purchaser should do a chamber casting to confirm.
Overall the rifle is complete and in very good condition with minor signs of use and wear on the wood and metal, none of which are significant or extend through the finish. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. It’s a great little carry carbine.

I've got the same (.222 rechambered) but the rechambering apprears to have been done professionally, as the barrel is overstamped in .223. Sweet compact package! Would consider selling. PM if interested.
