Here is a wonderful Christmas gift for a son or daughter (or yourself!). Earlier Savage 24 with the side selector button in 22 Magnum (WMR) and 410. These are normally found in 22 LR and the Magnum chambering is much less common. The rifle is about as nice as you'll ever find with 99% vivid case coloring, 99% bluing, no discolor or wear on the trigger guard and 98% on the stock because of one mark but not serious. This may be unfired as the hammer shows essentially no marks on it or the barrel release lever. It's just outstanding. The wood is dark brown straight grained and appears to be American Walnut (not Brich). It has a grooved barrel for a scope and weigh 6 pounds 8 ounces. The barrels are 24" and the length of pull is 14 1/4".

If you have been thinking about a 24 this one is a true quality piece. Please feel free to call and we can discuss. I am happy to text or email in and all pictures you wish taken.

$850 plus $20 shipping insured with tracking number. Thanks,

Doesn't this bring back memories. A lot of us had Savage 24's in our youth...

I had a .22 LR over 20 ga Model 24 in my youth. Great gun - grooved for a scope, I put a cheap .22 scope on it and just used it as a rifle for a while. Incredibly accurate in spite of what must have been about a 10 pound trigger. I always felt there was something about a rifle barrel, brazed full length to a shotgun barrel, with a scope mounted directly to the barrel, that made it superbly accurate. If i hadn't just bought a new Tikka I would seriously consider this. Up for a nice gun.
