I was hunting up in Southern Oklahoma this week and nailed this 22 inch wide, 155 inch, 8.5 year old buck. Felt good to get out and hunt for the first time this year!

Nice buck. Which part of southern OK? I’m just north of the Wichitas. Seen some toads over the weekend but didn’t pull the cork on one yet.

Congratulations on an awesome deer. His age makes him an even better trophy in my opinion.

Very nice! Years ago I bow-hunted some public land around Waurika - lots of deer sign.

I was hunting at an intersection of two creeks. All the deer were coming from one creek but to my surprise, he showed up from the other. Always fun when you turn around and see a surprise

Excellent! My uncle managed the Waurika WMA for 15 years or so. There’s some dandies down there.
