How does your state handle sales tax on gun transfers into the state though a FFL? Nevada changed policy about two years ago and now charges full Nevada sales tax on all transfers purchased from a dealer, new or used firearms. No tax is charged on the sale if it is a transfer from an individual non dealer. Seem as though the sale took place where ever the gun was actually purchased, but not according to our AG. Nevada sales tax is .083725%. Guess this falls in line with other on line purchases. They never miss a bet!
They want that revenue one way or the other... Tn started it July 1st this year collevting online state sales tax. Buncha bullschitt... Probably using it for payraise,s and gov job retirement funds and welfare schitt. Like we dont pay enough for that schitt to begin with...
Bought some stuff on ebay this year, from small volume out of state sellers, the b.s. flag went up the pole, so I asked for their state tax resale number....no reply. I think some of these clowns are charging the buyer, and never reporting it to the buyers home state, pocketing the "tax" collected. Another one charged me tax...but the rate was not the current Calif. tax rate. Definitely a b.s. flag on that. Caveat emptor I guess.
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

It's not the sellers that are charging/collecting the sales taxes. It is Ebay and/or PayPal.
While it's true that all liberals are crazy people, not all crazy people are liberals.

Look to South Dakota vs. Wayfair decision. Opened the door to all states with a sales tax to collect it on all internet purchases. If the dealer shipping didn’t collect it, the dealer where you pick it up has to.
Government, especially when democRATS are involved... never met a tax they didn't love...
they think we all exist, to keep them in a big buck, do nothing job, and give them plenty of retirement money for a life of doing nothing but robbing the public.
With the corruption in government anymore... a revolt in this country is long overdue...
when I was born the average person paid 4 cents of every dollar they made in taxes...
in many states that exceeded 50 cents on every dollar that you make...
they only people with any economic freedom, if you can call it, are welfare bums....yeah, they pay sales taxes, but are essentially giving the state back some of the money that the state gives them every week, especially when they are collecting under multiple identities...
as citizens, we are keeping corruption in government afloat, via all the taxes we pay to them, and for what? certainly isn't to our benefit... and if it is to your benefit, that is because you are not contributing to society, you are sitting on your ass being a drain on society, and getting paid by the state and the feds to be that drain on society.....aka welfare bum....
some of us still have personal pride in ourselves and our society to get off our asses and contribute to society.. and our rewards are excessive taxation, to keep the corrupt dysfunction alive and well in our government and allow it to keep getting worse and worse...
what will society do, when they get to where they are taxing 100 pennies of every dollar that you make? then what?
or as honest citizens do we let it go that far....sadly it will get to that point after I am done... and my only regret is that there was not a large enough movement to do something about it while I am alive....
I'm not against taxation, I'm just against how much the leftists in the government think they deserve of every dollar honest working people make...
