Midway has these on sale for what looks like pretty good prices. Like a 3-18x50mm side focus FFP for $539. Anyone have any experience with these?

They look decent enough. Locking, zero-stop turrets. But 30 oz and a wonky reticle make them a "No" from me. BTW, $439 0 EuroOptic.

Have one of the nitro on the way. $180 off, $60 rebate, I figured for $100 I would check it out.

Been playing with one of the Forge 2.5-15 with their Deploy MOA reticle on my rimfire fun gun. Have only shot it to 100yds. The tracking is spot on. The turret adjustments are crisp, not NXS crisp but better then what my SHV has. The locking turrets and zero stop are solid and simple. The image is clear all the way to the edge. Absolutely no complaints so far.

Can we officially say that the scope market has been thoroughly flooded with chicom scopes?

Just had a 3-12x40 Bushnell Prime delivered, says made in Korea. Haven't mounted it yet, it's going on either a 17 WSM or a 243 Ruger Tang 77. Seems well made, substantial construction, good glass, and a nice fairly heavy duplex style reticle (Leupold take note). Side parallax, capped windage turret, 6 different elevation turret dials (not the best selection but could be customized) and a cap. To be honest I had no idea this scope existed, but for the application, I thought I'd roll the dice. https://www.bushnell.com/holiday/sale/prime-riflescopes-3-12x40-multi-turret/

Was quite surprised to see what came with this Forge scope. Came with a soft cover, cleaning cloth, adjustment tools, 3” sunshade and a set of fore and aft flip up covers.

The 3x-18x-50mm Forge only weighs 1.3 oz. more than the 4.5x-18x-44mm LRTS, so for the price point difference that's not a deal killer for me. Now.... SWFA 3-15 or the Forge 3-18? ....first world problems.
