This year, we have agreed to just not buy each other stuff for Christmas. We have virtually all the material things we will ever need. Instead, we will strive to spend more quality time together.

She was talking about needing a chest for our grandmothers quilts that don’t have a proper home. To be blunt, there is not much she does not have. True for mine as well, EXCEPT... She has always wanted a real Colt Single Action Army, 4&5/8" Blue/CC, Black Rubber Grips, 45 LC only. So this year, she's getting one, I was able to pick best of three for case colors, front sight straight.

Ours is a little different. I'm getting her a wet tile saw, she's getting me a sewing machine. She does art work with fused glass. A tile saw with a diamond blade makes quick work of precision glass cutting. I like to make my own outdoor equipment, like tents, packs, etc. A normal home sewing machine isn't capable of going through heavy webbing and layers of nylon so I want a heavy duty one that can handle the job.
