Had a decent year in 2019, seemed to fly by, as hunting seasons always do.

Started in late summer/early fall with a WY cow elk hunt for my nephew and I.

My nephews second elk:

Next afternoon I shot one:

Spent just about all my available time after that hunting sheep in NW Wyoming...26 days in all over 4 trips. Had some help on 3 of those trips from 2 good friends, and did one solo hunt as well.

Snuck out between the first and second sheep hunts to help a friend from Wyoming with his first pronghorn and met up with a couple friends from Montana for a couple days. They all did pretty well:

Got weathered out on that sheep hunt, low ceilings and no ability to glass. So, cut out early and on the way home found a decent pronghorn:

After looking him over closely and taking some photos and with the sheep tag not filled...decided to take the opportunity.

Had a couple friends from AZ show up for pronghorn and they bagged 6 pronghorn on a quick 2 day deal...always fun hunting with these guys.

After my AZ friends went home it was back to sheep hunting for the last 21 days of the season.

Ended up seeing 62 rams in total, passed many sheep and had a great time. Was fortunate to have the help of a friend from Cody that has some top notch horses and a mule on 3 of the 4 hunts.

Got some snow in the later part of the sheep season:

Finally after 26 days, and with only 5 days left in the season...took the older of 2 good rams we found, 9.5 year old ram:

Had the last day of general elk and right at daylight edged into a spot and found 50 or 60 elk, 7 bulls in the herd 5 rags and 2 spikes. Had them over a barrel at 175 yards and decided rather than throw another set of raghorn antlers in the rafters, may as well take a cow:

Went up to Montana to hunt with my Nephews, Dad, and Brother in mid November at our family deer camp. Did pretty well and was happy to help both nephews take their first whitetail bucks.

Congratulations! That one looks hugh. What would you guess it weighted on the hoof? In reference to the sheep.

Still have another cow tag here in Wyoming and have some friends showing up for cow elk as well...but sort of winding down for the year.

They're not all that big, maybe 200lbs on the hoof I'd guess.

You and you4 family have had “one heckofa” good year! Congratulations on all.......especially the sheep, that’s a very good ram! Some of that country in the sheep photos looks familiar! But then, a lot of that country looks similar! memtb
