Where I bought mine I got charged sales tax, but I didn't order before using the Silencer Shop Kiosk. I also saved about $50 over the online price for the Omega even after local and state sales tax. So you might want to talk to whomever is handling the transfer before you order.

I still hunt with a model 7 243 that is not threaded sometimes. Especially if it’s thick and steep and I want light and short. It’s my favorite rifle and I need to see if it can be threaded.
It’s such a pleasure to shoot, your ears not ring, and hear the bullet smack the deer.
My biggest recommendation is to buy multiple cans at once if you can. The wait times arent going away or getting much shorter. When the wait is over you will be glad you did
If you hunt with big bores at all like the mid westerns states sometimes require, consider a hybrid design like silencerco hybrid in the herd. Don’t buy a 223 or 6.5 specific can. Just get a 30 cal. We tried a bunch at the shop and nobody could tell the 1-2 decibel difference between a 223 can or 30 cal can on a small caliber rifle
Also don’t waste your money on smaller diameter end caps. It’s a waste of money. Trust me
You must buy a rimfire can. It’s a necessity in my opinion. Dead air mask is my recommendation.
I have 2 pistol cans and they work great on pistols, Cz scorpion, and subsonic 300blk
Buy multiple at once. Cause I assure you you will be buying more and crying about the wait times

I had my remington model 7 in 308 cut back to 16" and threaded 1/2X28 and bushing up to 5/8X24. Works great.

Shot a 8 point yesterday at 250 yards. He took off on a run and then started bounding. Only reason I knew I had hit him was heard the bullet hit him. He went about 90 yards and piled up.
5 other deer were within 100 yards of me. One ran off. Two ran closer too me. Two looked up and then went back to feeding. Amazing what a suppressor does for you in my opinion.

I hunt 100% with a can. I really like the Omega 300. The TB Ulta7 is also pretty close. The Omega with a Ti cap and thread mount is still cheaper then the Thunderbeast and is very close to them weight wise but with more modularity. I can run QD or Direct thread in whatever I want. No need for an adapter or the potential problems they bring.
The Omega is 6" which is half way between the Ultra 7 and Ultra5. The performance is about the same, half way between.

The TI flat end cap and thread mount certainly narrows the gap on which suppressor I like better when the TBAC 7 is slightly lighter but the Omega is 1" shorter. Both are great IME.
