Butcher BBQ is selling their seasonings and rubs for $6.50 for a 2 pound bag. I really like the Honey rub, Premium rub, and Savory pecan. I don't know how long the sale will last it has been going on for a couple of weeks now.

Been using #1 rub by posted by Ironbender since 08.
We use it for a rub when smoking pork shoulders ,after the pork is pulled sprinkle on liberally.
We also use to season grilled pork chops.
We tried it once loved it no reason to change.

[35,
Thanks for posting the rub recipes. I usually make my rubs but I can't purchase half the ingredients to make 2 pounds for 6.50 so when I see a sale like this I usually stock up.

IIRC, those were posted way long ago by member robp.

I like them for pulled pork.

My go to spice mix is 5:2:2:1 - salt:black pepper: garlic powder:onion powder.

We also use the salt, pepper, and garlic powder ( minus the onion powder ) on grilled chicken and pork chops.
Can`t go wrong with either mix.
We`ve been using Zatarains quite a bit on grilled shrimp, fish and chicken.
Go easy with it a little goes a long way.
