Has anyone seen this plate before (off a Model 1903, .22)? Does anyone have a rifle with the plate on it? If you do, what is the serial range of the rifle. eBay link.

Rick
I have not seen that one before. It looks flat so my guess is it came off of an English style stock, rifle. I would love to get it to make a copy.

My guess was a very early English plate. I'd like to know what time period they were used. I bet it is one rare item. The English plate I have is the thick one with the Trade Mark Indian like was used on some of the 1899's.
