Better make them brownies with that "in da couch" variety though or the underpaid caregivers will be PO"d.
Give them the kind that gets them high and keeps them active .......................no tellin' what kind of havoc they could wreak around the shuffleboard court and pinochle table.
Better find a variety that doesn't give them the munchies either..................gotta keep the food budget under control. Those Doritos and dip cost too much. Not to mention trying to keep a handle on all them wheelchairs trying to get out the door at the same time when they hear the Good Humor man come by.

RE: the pot today being stronger than in the past.
There's a whole lot of craft beer, stout, and even ice beer that is stronger then the Miller, Oly, and Schlitz of my youth.
And one used to have to resort to Bacardi 151 if they wanted anything much stronger than Wild Turkey. If one lived in NV one could get Everclear......................unless one went to a bootlegger and got some shine (or made one's own). Now I see moonshine sold in the grocery store along with other high alcohol refreshments.

I tend to lean libertarian, small gov and big freedom. I think weed should be legal, and welfare should be illegal. I think smoking weed is stupid, but not as dumb as letting the government take away our freedoms dictated in the constitution.

My take is it is an epic disaster.
My take is that tons of government welfare is an epic disaster with or without the pot. Welfare shapes our society in a multitude of ways and very rarely for the better.

I just don't understand how so many equate 'Heavily regulated and heavily taxed' as freedom. I guess that's where we are today.

sure its not... I know at least a dozen people here, since it was legalized, that stay stoned, 24/7... no longer have a job, and live off of welfare.... but still have money to stay stoned all day, every day.. their only activity is watching TV or playing video games... and welfare gives them a financial base to get by on therefore supporting their new life style...
they are even too damn lazy to grow their own... preferring to even let someone else do that for them...
they drive around in their beater cars, no insurance on it, expired plates... then when they get pulled over and locked up they are crying what a victim they are...
yeah, its neither addictive or a drain on society.. that is just an old wife's tale...
