Yeah, but you can have gay marriage, so Monday is Tuesday and 1 and 1 is three.

No, the Pagans were celebrating earth and the solstice... holiday tree would be correct, or in Rock Chucks case, waded panties for no reason tree.

You do know that's a mix of English and Greek, right? Most folks seem to forget that the original manuscripts of what became the New Testament canon was written in Greek.

what bothers some Christians is that paganism just works. ..especially when it comes to farming practices.
they preferred to be productive, no time to wait around for miracles and handouts from a messiah to feed
their communities..

some like to be educated, but many prefer to remain ignorant and offended about 'Xmas'.
I know of those types also.
and others don't know the first full hand written English translation Bible [before the printing press]
or the first massed produced Bible.
names like Wycliffe-Purvey and Tyndale are alien to them.
1450s Gutenberg invented the printing press with first book to ever be printed being a Latin Bible.

Nothing at all officially, but we celebrate CHRIST at CHISTmas and the trees are a tradition. They've tried to remove the name CHRISTmas from the celebration. Some have even suggested we return to celebrating on the solstice which is going back to celebrating pagan gods instead of CHRIST.
