That is only about 1/2%of Colorado Springs tax.Bass Pro has the same type of tax here also

We don't have any around here. I went to there website and poked around. Looks like their prices are pretty close to MSRP on guns and shooting stuff. They have some of the highest end bicycles I have seen at a big box store. That gets a thumbs up from me.

Online pricing and going into the store and chatting with a knowledgeable salesman will usually get the price down.
I have no problem paying a little more for something when I can deal face to face with a business that has excellent customer service. I feel lucky to have two stores within easy driving distance from my home and another about 30-45 minutes of my hunting camp. Great in store prices. I buy about 15-20 cases of shot shells a year from them.

Some people wait a lifetime to meet their favorite hunting and shooting buddy. Mine calls me dad

Interestingly, the initial concept behind Dicks was to offer quality merchandise and staff their stores with people who knew the product. Specialists if you will. They reckoned that folks wouldn't mind paying the higher price if they got quality customer service from capable sales associates.

If you are serious about buying, I don't think you will be disappointed with Scheels.

SS,
Thanks for the heads up.

I"ll check it out next time I'm in that area.

You didn't use logic or reason to get into this opinion, I cannot use logic or reason to get you out of it.
