Be aware that this Scheels store is in an area that charges a 4.5% Public Improvement Fee on top of the 4.7% Sales tax. This was my first time shopping there. Good news was they had Reloder 26 in stock, but with the extra fee, I won't be back.
That is only about 1/2%of Colorado Springs tax.Bass Pro has the same type of tax here also
If God wanted you to walk and carry things on your back, He would not have invented stirrups and pack saddles

We don't have any around here. I went to there website and poked around. Looks like their prices are pretty close to MSRP on guns and shooting stuff. They have some of the highest end bicycles I have seen at a big box store. That gets a thumbs up from me.

Online pricing and going into the store and chatting with a knowledgeable salesman will usually get the price down. I have no problem paying a little more for something when I can deal face to face with a business that has excellent customer service. I feel lucky to have two stores within easy driving distance from my home and another about 30-45 minutes of my hunting camp. Great in store prices. I buy about 15-20 cases of shot shells a year from them.
Music washes away the dust of everyday life Some people wait a lifetime to meet their favorite hunting and shooting buddy. Mine calls me dad

Specialists if you will. They reckoned that folks wouldn't mind paying the higher price if they got quality customer service from capable sales associates.

If you are serious about buying, I don't think you will be disappointed with Scheels.

For those of you in Northern Colorado 0r any close distance, check out Scheels in Johnstown about 40 miles north of Denver. An all sports store that carries everything. Two stories and each is bigger than Cabelas or Bass Pro. .Nicer, knowledgeable people and the prices a bit lower. It was a 2.5 hour drive for us , but I am impressed. SS, Thanks for the heads up. I"ll check it out next time I'm in that area.
You didn't use logic or reason to get into this opinion, I cannot use logic or reason to get you out of it.
