Both 140 gr 264 Mag factory loads from WW and Rem use their 2 diameter bullets, so were the component bullets they offered at one time. Today's are the same, and if anyone cares to check they will find that the 140 gr 6.5 Creedmoor ammo from Rem features the same bullet. As a matter of fact Remington factory 7 mm Remington Magnum loads are 2 diameter in the 150 and 175 grain PSPCL loads. When JB does his 3 rd article on the 264 Mag I'll send him some...… MB

Remington's 7x64 175 grain loads are also 2 diameter. I was getting 6"+ groups with them. Pulled some and seated 175 grain Speer Mag Tips and groups went to 1.5". No joke!

I have a old box of Winchester 140 grain for my 264 win Mag that are two diameter. Factory loads.
I also traded for a box of old Nosler Partitions 140 grain.264 diameter bullets. I loaded some up for my late season Colorado elk hunt. Those bullets shoot spectacular.
As a matter of fact I would like to buy some more if anyone has any for sale.
I have a old Sako .264 Win Mag that loooooves the two diameter 140 Partitions.

Yes MD used the 2 dia 140 PP's in my Dad's 264 westerner back in the early 60's. They shot great and we killed a bunch of deer and elk with that bullet. He took a big bull at around 500 yds, one shot drt. The bullet was recovered and looked exactly like the catalog pic of a 500 yd PP. Mac

I did some scrounging around on the net and just bought 200 .264 Remington PSPCL in 140 grain. They are the old two diameter design. My old Sako will have some fodder.
