Just think, 175 years ago, Oregon was the Eden at the end of the Oregon Trail!

A saw a bull dyke in Eugene back in the 90s that looked at least related to a Sasquatch. That's all I got.

Tom, I do not know if you have seen any of this man's videos but they are interesting, regarding Sasquatch, Bigfoot, etc. He was born and raised in northern British Columbia, still lives there, and has been hunting, etc., in that remote B.C. wilderness since he was a kid. He has been a professional hunting guide there for many years. He is a firm believer in the beings called "Sasquatch."

Take a look when you have time.

L.W.

I like hearing the stories he tells. Very interesting.
He’s also chasing a buck dubbed Zues.

I think Steve is legit.

I try to be an open minded live and let live kinda guy. But when her Doc Martins look two sizes too big for me and it looks like she'd be a challenge in an arm wrestle I give her a wide birth. Damn!

I've lived in Oregon all my life. I wouldn't doubt that a very few grizzlies inhabit NorthEastern Oregon. The bigfoot sighting was just a guy that pulled on the green chain at the sawmill I worked at in the 70'S!

I think the only reason for not talking about Bigfoot is so the person saying they saw something doesn’t get laughed out of town.

Not sure what I heard and felt one day hunting in the woods. It wasn’t a bear or a cat. Scared me straight.
Growl/howl shook the ground. I turned around, carrying my rifle and wanted no part of it.

I’m not saying it was Bigfoot. But it was big and loud.

How are you certain that it wasn't a bear? I've heard Alaskan brown bears make gnarly sounds.

I take it that you have been hunting for a long time and a accomplished hunter.
What's the first thing a hunter does in the field?
Look for signs of game?
Tracks?
Have you ever seen droppings that didn't match any animals that live in the area?
If they are herbivorous animals have you seen grazing areas full of tracks and droppings?
If they are carnivore have you seen carcass remains or signs of a take down and kill?
What about dens and family units? They must reproduce to be around for a couple hundred years.
They say there isn't cougar in Minnesota but when a hunter sees tracks, droppings and a kill site that wasn't a wolf or bear kill and have photos to back him up I believe him.

As a hunter I have always felt the the Bigfoot tale is bogus. Show me sign or bring me a carcass. I'm sure plenty of guys would make room for a nice Bigfoot mount in their trophy room.

Had a bear run in front of me 2 years ago while deer hunting near Mt. Lassen National Park in California. My first thought was grizzly. It was a huge bear and golden blonde in color. Really long claws hauling ass. It's fur was much darker on the belly and legs so maybe it was a really big sun-bleached black bear.

There are wolves in the same area. I haven't seen one, but a local rancher has. Killing his cattle.

The infamous OR-7 she wolf made it down around Bogard/Harvey Mtn , just north of Lassen, a few years ago according to channel 10 in Medford. Then they quit broadcasting location updates 'cause some good ol' boys went out cruising with .22-250's and 12 paks of Coors.

Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Nope. I’ve spent my fair share of time in the woods, river chasing game. I’m by no means a seasoned outdoors man.

I know what I heard, I know what I felt.

Ive had cats trailing me while mountain biking, bears run away from me while hunting.

F u king thing was loud and made a dam n noise I have never heard

Again, I’m not a master of the outdoors...... heard and seen some cool stuff but nothing like that day.
I grabbed my son and turned around. Walked back down the path we busted.

Hair raising to put it lightly.

I know nothing about wolves, but they had a "tracking map" of OR7 on the Medford station and they showed her going from someplace near Burns OR to the South Warners below Alturas CA in just a little over 48 hours. Is that even possible? Wild guess, but I think that's 200 miles if it's an inch. Would'a killed a saddle horse.

I've always thought we should trap a pile of wolves and relocate them to LA and Frisco to get the ball rolling.

Wouldn’t that be nice?
