Me too. Mine was made by Western Forge. Similar style as the WF craftsman adjustable? I like the channellock / irrega (Spain) because it has a”slimmer” profile.

Cry I go through so many needle nose smokin' all these pinners....... Dude, If you just let them get down to where they start to burn the fingers, then eat them roaches, you don't need to spend good dope money on silly friggen pliers. Geno Can't remember the last time I shared a joint..... Stingy, huh?

Just found these reviews....
They seemed like decent pliers, albeit a bit pricey, with long, slim and seemingly robust jaws, but I returned them because one tip was about a third the thickness of the other and would clearly be at risk of snapping under pressure. How something so obvious was able to pass muster at Klein's factory I do not know, but I've had little luck buying US-made tools online due to similar QC problems. (The pliers also arrived covered in black oily residue stinking of gasoline, but I suspect that's a seller/return issue not Klein's fault). This review sounds like it was written by a homo. What kind of man waxes on eloquently about a fuggin' pair of pliers like that? Most men would just say, "They suck",...and be done with it. These days lots of ladies are into tools.

Knipex are what I use. I had several different pair when I worked on aircraft. Their smooth jaw adjustable pliers work great and don’t leave a mark or burr up fasteners.

Hard to beat anything channellock Agreed. I use a lot of Klein for electrical stuff, and their dikes are the best I've used, but my channellocks and my needle nose are Channellock.

All my pliers type tools are Knipex. I've got a pair of the plier wrench...very handy...faster than a Crescent wrench and doesn't spring on you, either, also fits in tight spots. Absolutely top quality.

Hard to beat anything channellock Made in Meadville, PA, USA!!! Channel lock, slip joint pliers suck. I've busted more than one knuckle with them. Only use Knipex in the last 20 years. Although Knipex linemen s pliers suck. Busted the cutting blade first time I used them. Never had that happen with Kline Retired electrician.

I broke a pair of #9 Kleins, back in '79.(Cracked through the hinge joint between the handles) The Klein rep happened to be in the supply house the day I went to return them - and asked what I used them for. I told him "Usually for cutting wire" and he asked what size? I replied "Oh #2, maybe #1, or #1/0" and he questioned "With cheaters?" I replied no, and he asked whether aluminum or copper. I told him "whatever" He then claimed I could not possibly cut 1/0 copper without cheaters - so we went to the back, where I cut about an inch off a roll of 2/0 copper, right in front of him -using the broken pliers! He refused to warranty them, stating "That's abuse!" I asked why they made them to open so wide, then - and he still claimed abuse. Last pair of Klein lineman's pliers I ever owned - it's been Channellock every since.
