To get the latest rage 6.5 CM shooting 140s at 2800 is near its max. Wonder which has less recoil? Same weight bullet at same velocity says recoil should be the same but I suspect bearing surface, if there is a difference, could change that. I don’t know. But after shooting full house 270 and the reduced load I made, recoil felt very comfortable and not much it can’t take down. All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

I went for 2800 fps using IMR4895. Shot great, don't see why that wouldn't fit the bill. Dog I rescued in January
