South Africa was totally paper straws in April when I was there. I hate the texture and they were beginning to disintegrate by the time I finished my milkshake. BTW, Mugg and Bean make a delicious lime milkshake. Best I've ever had.

Not sure I want to put lips to glasses these days. Plus a lot of places over fill their glasses. You can't hardly get them to mouth without spilling.

On a positive note, the Kraft process that produces paper, including presumably straws, also produces DMSO, which you can put on those jaw muscles you strain trying to suck your soda pop through them.

I don't know about now, but Navy ships dumped all garbage into the ocean while out to sea.

Nothing wrong with biting both ends off a Red Vine and drinking cheap wine with it, really improves the taste.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I had heard of such but living in the Midwest, we haven’t seen the craziness in person.

Fast forward to this week when I worked in Seattle all week. Needless to say, I was introduced to this moronic idea.

Some people could screw up an anvil with a rubber mallet.
Nothing like leaving your straw in your drink for a few hours after lunch and your straw has turned into a wet noodle when you go to grab a drink.

The level of dumbfuckery knows no limits.

Roughly half of the population, [MEN] shouldn't be worrying about any damn drinking straw. crazy
