Way to raise em Aces!

So apparently nobody said anything to her about it. She said they know me too well from all the various volunteer stuff we do and they’re afraid of what I’d do if they did say anything. 😁. She said she got a bunch of double takes from teachers and a couple triple takes but nothing was said. A couple of her girlfriends wish she’d have coordinated with them so they could’ve worn their MAGA stuff too but from here on out the girls are wearing it each week on a predetermined day. 👍. She and her girlfriends are going to rally her other friends and they’re going to see how many kids they can get to join them in solidarity (I hate that word though applicable) each and every week until school ends in June. She’s quite popular, plays several sports, is on the leadership council as well as student council so I have no doubt that she’ll spread the MAGA seeds amongst her friends.

Tomorrow is “Trap Tuesday”! 👍......Trap Tuesday is when I go to the trap range with the kids and they show me up. If I break 23 it’ll be guaranteed that one or both will break 24. The old guys there get a kick out of watching a 13 year old girl hold her own with the best of us out there, but mostly they like giving me a hard time.....it’s always a lot of laughs even if it’s not healthy for my ego. 😂

Your story reminded me of my Granddaughter last year. She wore her MEGA hat into a McDonalds back East on a school trip. A man in line commented on it to her. He said " This is your lucky day." He gave her a

It would seem to me that her wearing a MAGA shirt or hat or anything is protected by the first amendment to the constitution as the supreme court has even said such events as burning an American flag is "political free speech".....

It’s not beneath me to use her Trump 2020 shirt to strangle them should they open their cock holsters. I don’t think they will since they don’t have the mob backing that they would in the liberal areas. Around here the liberals are the minority and they damn sure better remember their place or they’ll be quickly outnumbered, out-shouted, out-fought and out-gunned.

Aces, this has been a good reminder that there are lots of current HS students who combine great brains with sensible social and political behavior - we simply hear way too much news about those who are lacking in one or both. I'm pleased that the venture she does with her pals is enjoyable and that the school leaders have at least enough sense to honor their students' free speech rights. This may work better in Stanwood than in other places.

All in all, and even in the most rabid leftist cultures in the US, a public school eventually will lose every legal battle when they try to deprive such rights - but sometimes it takes heavy protest and even a long legal struggle to quash those bad leadership decisions, and most folks have neither the means or the time/patience to run that course. Consequently, this enables legal abuse by school leaders in many areas. A sad reality. The occasional victories over that are sweet, indeed.

Good on you, Aces! We’re fortunate in our area here to be predominantly conservative. Unfortunately, like everywhere else it seems, our public schools seem to be infested with liberal trash trying to influence our kids. Kind of sad from the days when I was in school and it wasn’t nothing to have your rifle and/or shotgun in the back window rack of your truck in the school parking lot, and being excited about showing it off to your gun-loving teachers on lunch hour. What the hell happened?

I would NOT have done such a thing myself.
Now take that bit of advice for what it is.
Free advice, from someone who has seen people maimed, injured and killed for seemingly innocuous reasons.
Call me cowardly if you wish but I consider myself overly protective of my VarmintLovedOnes.
I pray that no harm comes to your loved one over this "situation" that probably should never have occurred in the first place.

Back when my youngest was in school, Obama was in his first term.

The school had a policy of no political hats, shirts, posters etc. Of course that was never enforced when one would wear something supporting the Magic Negro.

My son got a Tee that said, BO Stinks and he wore it to school. The students had a fit as well as several teachers. They said he was wearing a political shirt and he needed to remove the shirt or be suspended.

He refused and was sent home.

I went to the school the next day and had a conversation with the school administrator, long story short, he wore that shirt to school for the rest of the school year.
