I recently got some Vv N570 powder to try in my 26 Nosler. Reportedly, it performs well with that round.
I saw a Quickload print out for the .300 Win Mag. with 200 gr. bullets. N570 had the highest velocity.
Because it's fairly new, there isn't a lot of data out there.
Has anyone used it and what has been your experience?

Just for more info . VV 24N41 is one click slower than N 570 & at a lower price. . Last time I looked Powder Valley had VV24N41 in stock. Available in an 8# keg only $209. I have been using VV24N41 for years with great results. . Top performance in my 264 mag. Should give top performance in your 300 with 200gr bullets..

Aren't the VV powders both single & double based, hence the numerical differences?

Aren't the VV powders both single & double based, hence the numerical differences? Yes the 500 series are double base but VV calls it Nitro infused like they soak it in Nitro or something proprietary.

The 500 series ARE soaked in nitroglycerin according to magazine articles when 540 came out. Be Well, Rustyzipper.

Not a 26 Nosler, but Vihtavouri N570 in a Winchester M70 in .264WM FWIW, I do hear some reports that N570 can be hard on barrel throats. I am a hunter, so I don't shoot enough for that to matter to me, though.

Have not tried N570 but several of the other 5 series powders.they caused throat erosion faster than any other powders I have ever used. I am happy using the 1 series.

It's such a coarse stick that it stacks in my Uniflow powder measure. I have to remove the drop tube, dump each charge into a scale pan, tweak each charge, dump in each case.
Probably the worst metering powder I've ever used. Performance numbers look good, but lack of easy metering can in some applications be a consideration.
