He was the fellow that steered me here.

Sonny was a helluva good guy.

So many others, too many to list, have also left us, leaving this place full of unfillable holes.

I have not be here that long. I did like Shrapnel, and do like J.B. Dwayne is a gentleman.
I don't find much useful info here and the political speculation is almost mania.
I wish there was more of a hunting and shooting preference. Serious shooters often go elsewhere.
Maybe it needs moderation....

Yep!

A LOT of the old timers were GREAT guys! (and gals!)

I built one of the rifles with a Pac-Nor barrel in 25-284 on advice gained here.

LOT of good advice back then, and there still is.

Heck, I'm one of the old timers myself! (GRIN!)

Newer member here. Dont spend much time here, a lot like Facebook, entertaining, but usually a waste of time. The sub forums on the other hand are a wealth of valuable info. Lots of real world knowledge and opinions. Fun getting a glimpse into folks personalities.
STICK used to be different? If I can get through the bull S in his posts, he sometimes has something valuable to say.
Bottom line - glad you guys are all here. Valuable info, entertaining and most seem like stand up gentelman.

Yes... 'Stick's on-screen persona and communicating style was quite different, as in 180 degrees different, back in the Campfire's early days. If you care to see how different start here ----> https://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/ubb/userposts/id/127/view/posts/page/2399
