Need One was a permanent fixture back then.
He was one of the good ones. He was the fellow that steered me here. Sonny was a helluva good guy. So many others, too many to list, have also left us, leaving this place full of unfillable holes.

I have not be here that long. I did like Shrapnel, and do like J.B. Dwayne is a gentleman.
I don't find much useful info here and the political speculation is almost mania.
I wish there was more of a hunting and shooting preference. Serious shooters often go elsewhere.
Maybe it needs moderation....

A LOT of the old timers were GREAT guys! (and gals!)
I built one of the rifles with a Pac-Nor barrel in 25-284 on advice gained here.
LOT of good advice back then, and there still is.
Heck, I'm one of the old timers myself! (GRIN!)

Newer member here. Dont spend much time here, a lot like Facebook, entertaining, but usually a waste of time. The sub forums on the other hand are a wealth of valuable info. Lots of real world knowledge and opinions. Fun getting a glimpse into folks personalities.
STICK used to be different? If I can get through the bull S in his posts, he sometimes has something valuable to say.
Bottom line - glad you guys are all here. Valuable info, entertaining and most seem like stand up gentelman.

You could make sense of what big stick was saying, I find it very hard to follow some of his threads now. Especially since I put him on ignore.............. Looks like I am one of those 14+ year vets of the 24 hour campfire. My how quickly time goes by.
