"Washington D.C. (AP Report): President Bush, Senators Kennedy & McCain have supported a new bill called the Government Security & Efficiency Act. In light of the recent turmoil caused with the attempt to pass the 2007 Immigration Act, this new bill will suspend the right of all Americans to vote in any elections for a period of not less than 8 years. The reason given for this new bill is to eliminate the inefficiency which occurs when citizens interfere with proposals formulated by the government. Senator McCain said that the reason that the government is often unable to do its job, is that they are beholden to special interest groups - - in this case the American citizenry and voters. "Being in the grips of the voters causes so much corruption and inefficiency." said McCain. In addition, President Bush said that in order to better protect the nation in the War on Terror we must be able to react more quicky than is possible with the election process. Senator Kennedy also said that the election process is patently unfair, since only Americans are able to vote in U.S. elections and the results of such elections impact people around the world. - - - The t.v. networks are especially excited by the new proposed bill since it will free up valuable election coverage programming time for various new 'reality show' programming and sporting events sponsored by various drug companies.
