I regret divorcing my first wife. I could have made it work, but I wouldn’t have my boy and the better wife I have now.
We had friends over one New Year’s Eve. Wifey has a friend I despise. She brags how much money her mom and dad have. The bitch has never had a job, lives off them. She left her drink on the ground, went to use Restroom. Her little dog that we ask her not to bring, came running by, stopped, hikes his leg, pees in her drink. I’ve felt bad all these years for not telling her......not.

I regret getting old. But I’ll regret the alternative even more.
If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

I regret not being closer to god. I have managed to exclude the GD word from my vocabulary.
I regret my racist attitude, but the bastards made me that way and keep me there.
I still don’t regret letting that dog piss in Teresa’s drink, then not tell her about it. She drank every bit of it. Tastes kind of like lemon she said.

I regret thinking my outboard could run across a mud flat covered with water lilies. But I almost made it. A buddy will be here at about dark 30 to pull me out. No deer hunting this afternoon.

I regret laughing in high school when this little fat, round dwarf girl fell down the steps coming out of the building. Becky was my son’s second grade teacher. She treated my son very well, wouldn’t speak to me and I don’t blame her a fuukin bit.
I regret this a lot, think of it often, she is gone now.

Zinging a hermit crab shell 98mph at some other kid across the yard when I was about 7 yrs old. It buried up into his neck instantly and blood started squirting, his sidekick dragged him home and I never seen him again.
Thought for sure I'd get my ass tore up. No one said a word.
Wondered about that kid for a long time

I regret not divorcing my first wife years sooner. For way more reasons that I want to bore you all with. My life could have turned out much differently.

Not spending more time with my grandpa when I had the chance. He cashed out a year after I got out of High School.

Only regrets I have is not spending more time with my family that has passed away. I buried most of my family before I was 34. I have an aunt cousin and sister left. Other than that I’ve done a bunch of dumb stuff I wish I hadn’t done but I learned from the mistakes and they made me a better person.

Kindness don't cost a dime. I wish I had spent millions more of it.
