The 22 Jet/Smith 53 is always a fun round with a fairly hot cast load (7.5 grs. BlueDot). Why Blue Dot? Because every other powder listed is NASTY and probably a bit hard on the forcing cone area.
Same bullets, seated out there.
I shot the same dog at about 40 yards.
When I shot the Hornet @ 100, I did manage the rock by the lower left of the wood target at couple hits. The Jet, for a handgun, gets there RIGHT NOW!
