Do any of the major manufactures sell a contours that fit 1) Winchester M70 Featherweight 2) Winchester M70 Sporter to fit an OEM stock or B&C Medalist? If not do I need to special order or do they sell one close enough that a gunsmith can turn it to fit an OEM or B&C medalist.
TIA,
Ned

Lilja has nearly all the Winchester factory contours in their system... And they make a very, very good barrel..

Recently got a 24" FTW barrel from MCGowen. Haven't put it on yet so can't comment on functionality.

Bartlein #1 sporter is the Win featherweight contour with the immediate step down. But CM only. https://bartleinbarrels.com/contours/

Most of them can duplicate factory contours, some like Kreiger, Bartlein, Brux won't do them because they don't make light contour stainless barrels. Lilja, Hart, Pac-nor (before the fire) are a few off the top of my head. Call and ask, you'll be able to find a good barrel maker that can dupe a factory contour without much trouble.

Bartlein #2 is almost a drop in fit for the Winchester Sporter contour. The Bartlein 0 contour is not a match for a feather weight, it doesn't have the big step down in front of the shank it is a straight taper.

Tejano....Have you had one?? I had one that had an immediate step down. I'm sure it was a Bartlein #1. I will try to find the thread where I bought and/or sold it. But it's been a while back.
