Overrun with uninteresting, disrespectful people whom seem to think a proper debate has nothing to do with knowledge relating to a topic but merely amounts to who can be the most derogatory.
There was a time when Steelhead had so many people supporting his disgusting comments it was Campfire suicide to challenge him on his posts. Same with a few others. Eventually, guys like that, Stick, Bricktop, et al, the disrespectful ones fell out of favor as guys began to stand up to it. Now they're all but gone. Steelhead is back as girlhunter but he's minding his p's and q's for whatever reason. I don't expect it to last. Too much poison in his soul for me to trust him. What baffles me is what the hell took so long for people to say something and why anyone put up with it from the beginning. Why didn't more of these so called good people stand up for what was right from the start? Why did anyone join in on the bashing of good people when it was clearly disgusting? All it takes for these jackasses to win is for the good people to say nothing. Maybe the good people are beginning to wake up?

Although he still posts once in a while and probably logs on occasionally without posting I believe besides having had some health issues TLee simply got tired of watching useful/interesting threads deteriorating into a bunch of grade school like bickering and infighting. Last I read someone said Les was doing government contractor work overseas. Barak still posts from time to time but nowhere near as much as he used to. Barak typically got hassled hard and often about his anarchist views. His wife, Penny, got all she could stand of the abuse hurled at Barak and simply stopped participating altogether. That is what made Barak interesting. Never agreed with a thing he said, but he knew how to make a cogent polite argument..he was good food for thought, entertaining.
