Last knife finished for the year. This is a PhD pattern (Paring Hunter Drippoint) in orange G10. This is my go to pattern for whitetail and small game. It has proven to be large enough to break down the whole deer both in the field and back at home to debone and have muscle groups ready for the freezer without being too large to toss in your pack. Also being a compact size it allows for long use without tiring out your hand that some patterns can cause.

Thanks for checking out my work!

Steel is 0-1. I heat treat it in house. Shooting for 59 rc
Sharpening method using grinder freehand then finish off with stone and leather strop.

0-1 has been my steel of choice since 2003 smile

Yeah I was funning. Hopefully the new owner is able to get it bloody real soon by filling some sort of tags there. Breasting out some waterfowl if nothing else. Spring turkey season is around the corner and I'll bet that blade is handy for turning a gobbler into food.

I used mine on 2 gobblers and a few squirrel. Worked killer because it is a modified paring knife for detail work smile
