Where can one buy a new Model 70 Stainless in 6.5 CM, probably be Portugal....have seen on here that some have them but everywhere I check no one has....Buds, Gunbroker, etc. I have a New Haven Classic in 308 bought back in 90's and a 243 stainless out of South Carolina believe 2012, both fine guns. My first rifle I bought for deer hunting was back i early 80's a 308 in push feed, been a Model 70 guy ever since. Please someone help. Thanks.

I’ll tell you what, those rifles are extremely nice! Is this what’s currently being put out by Winchester?

I personally think the Creedmore in a model 70 is an abomination, but I'm very tempted by that super grade.
OP, That link you were sent to the extreme weather is a fairly decent price.

I waited for a Model 70 Extreme Weather 6.5 CM for about a year and a half after Winchester announced them as a 2018 Shot Show offering, in Jan 2018. I would call Winchester every couple of months and ask when is this rifle going to show up. Over the 1 1/2 years I was told numerous excuses and finally moved on to a different rifle. Sounds like Winchester still hasn't brought them out, even though they're currently listed as a production offering.
Winchester is very disappointing....

Winchester is very disappointing.... Several for sale on Gunbroker, so I'd say they're out and in stock now. .

Blueboy, Great choice. Also don’t overlook the earlier Model 70XTR in cal 6.5X55. Not stainless but this featherweight has never failed me in the field up to and including a 6X6 Roosevelt elk that admittedly this cal is somewhat light for. 6.5 or 26cal rocks and nothing beats it co-efficient wise for long range. Long range on paper it’s also hard to beat. Tom

OP, That link you were sent to the extreme weather is a fairly decent price. So why do you think a Creedmoor in a M70 is an abomination? I'm probably about to pull the trigger on a M70 featherweight SS in 6.5 Creedmoor...

It is a great cartridge and works excellent for most guys uses. There is a hard core 70 bunch of users that don't wanna see the 6.5 CM mixed up with our favorite rifle. I'd do a 6.5 CM in a Featherweight in a heartbeat if I wanted one though. Should make a sweet package.

US made M-70 - Harley Portugal assembled M-70 - Harley, assembled in Japan. Portugal assembled M-70 in creed - Electric Harley, assembled in Japan. I like all (well, almost all) of them. Change happens. It’s a global marketplace.

Someone points out several on gunbroker, you now want to know how well they shoot and you have another rifle. You sir are a idiot..

Then STFU. The rest of your statement is superflous bullshit with no real bearing on this discussion other than to massage your own ego. Suckin' on my titties like you wanted me.

Man there is a supposed hardcore model 70 bunch that constantly bitch about Winchester being assembled in Portugal. Me really don’t care, I guess this hardcore bunch forgot when the model 70 was not made for 3 yrs...

The Model 70 has not been produced since 2006 (or perhaps 1963?)
Imposters not withstanding.

Imposters not withstanding. If we want to get down to facts a true winchester has not been made since the summer of 1981..
