I found this on another site and I have concerns about it being legit. First, I have to admit to knowing next to nothing about Leupold Tactical scopes. Ad: Never used Leupold VXII 3-9x40mm rifle scope. One inch tube, matte finish mil-dot reticle. This scope has finger adjustable elevation and windage knobs and is custom dial system compatible. Asking $300 OBO shipped. Concerns: - the power ring has the powers listed with an X next to them - the adjustment knobs look unusual I've owned dozen of Leupolds and none of them have those features. Is it a knock off? It's a fake. Turret covers are wrong, turret adjustments are wrong, power ring is wrong, bikini cover is wrong, finish looks wrong. I'd ask for a pic of the box as well, string the seller along as far as you can before bailing.

If it was in fact a VXII, it would say Leupold on the turret, instead of the gold emblem.
It's either a seller that doesn't know what they have, or a scammer. Either way, I'd run.
Yeah, the owners manual and cloth may be genuine, but that means nothing.
