Mountain goats and mountain sheep might share a mountain but sheep are unaffected by goats, imo.
Mountain Goats don't summer or winter with sheep, and don't pass on disease, and die off we overpopulated.
I have seldom seen them in close proximity.
Domestic sheep, can be a problem and pass on disease. I am a sheep hunter and naturally want them to thrive. My little old opinion

Can you hunt them in HI? Glad you enjoyed though SD could use your money.  You'd want Iowa today. Here -13, Anchorage -5 Des Moines a balmy 17. We had our best day in Iowa, 3 or 4 with about 10mph wind and the other days were far windier! You can hunt about anything there that is not native. I have shot ringneck, kalij, and turkeys there. I really want to shoot some francolins over there...
