Just trick out their new King Cobra to look like a miniature Python (polished stainless and all) and they'd have a re-intro of the Diamondback, but this time with .357 Magnum capability. I think that would sell. Essentially a more compact, lighter weight, Python.

THR, you are correct, they should have just named the new King Cobra a Diamondback and put a vent ribbed lugged barrel on it.

No chance of that model coming back 0.00. The Anaconda is next on the list.

I would love to see the Anaconda come back, I missed my chance to get one when they were available, now the prices are to high for me. I have a 2" Carry Magnum ans a 4" King Cobra, I just need a 6" Anaconda.

Might be better than the original
Most of Colt's more celebrated DA revolvers seemed to have functionality issues Seemed like they were so well made they couldn't work properly
I've seen a diamondback stopped after 2 cylinders fired from powder residue buildup between forcing cone and cylinder

I would take a Diamondback over any of the models they have introduced. I'm sure I'm the odd person out, but if a 38 special isn't going to do it, I don't want a 357.
It's about impossible to improve on the appetite and enjoyment of a 38 special, in the correct 38 special frame.

It's not just Colt's - same exact issue cropped up on my S&W 686. It was Remington/UMC ammo, spewed unburnt powder everywhere. Hasn't happened since with an exclusive Federal diet.

Not quite that fast, but after just a couple boxes of .38 Special, my Ruger Speed Six would do the same thing. It had to be cleaned pretty often not to start to seize up.

Screw the 38s, D-back 32 H&R. Too heavy for a 32 H&R IMO. We just need this again.
