Golly, it's been a long haul w/o you here. A man's dog only goes so far. You remind me of one of the people in our group-therapy. He admitted to discussing trivial things with his wife and children. Finally they had enough. They told him to STFU and work. Finally he did. But The Addiction almost crushed him. Do NOT fall victim to The Addiction.

Before realizing that I suffered from The Addiction, I thought I was an alcoholic. I joined a club. The club explained that we would remain anonymous. This was a LIE.
After covering a number of steps they explained I had to apologize to everyone. So I did. Then they explained I had to not only apologize on the social medias, but to real people.
I asked them "How can I remain anonymous when I stand in front of people and tell them I used to drink the alcohol too much?!?!?!" They were adamant that it was part of the process. I even retrieved a dictionary and showed them the definition of anonymous. They would not listen.
With that, we parted ways. I respectfully suggested that they change the title of their club but they just kept asking me to please leave the building. They were not nice people. Pretty heavy stuff right here... No. Not heavy at all. Just basic sense. I even gave examples to my sponsor.. "If I have to apologize to my mother, how do I retain anonymity? It's my MOM!" They had no answers. They only wanted us to contribute to the coffee fund. And they only served Folgers. Pardon my language but that club was total bullschit. Well Kaywoodie thinks it’s funny you have an addiction and you are trying to overcome it. I noticed a trend here, people on this site don’t like it when people try to better themselves like you are.. I edited post to fix a misspelled word for a spelling Nazi..

He would make outlandish claims regarding his current financial status. At one point he claimed that he could not afford shoelaces, or magnets for the front of his refrigerator. A low point for sure.
