Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I want to buy a new rifle in 6.5 prc. My hunting consist from the east coast to the west. From whitetail to elk. I'm having trouble deciding on what rifle to get. Looking at CA ridgeline, fierce, brownings in the max longrange, hells canyon McMillan stock. So basically the semi custom factory rifles. Which would you choose. Or should I be looking at going custom. If so how much more you think it will cost?

Bergara has a couple of options, including the Premier Highlander which has a Gayboe stock. Not the lightest option, but I'd bet it will be accurate.

The new ruger hawkeye looks like a good low cost option. Its cheaper than the long range hunter but still has a threaded ss barrel. I like that this new one is 22".

In the $2000 range I'd go seekins even though I like my Christensen elr 28 nosler and my ridgeline in 280 ai.

Don’t over look the Sauer. Nice, smooth rifles.

the hawkeye don't take AICS mags like the LRH, and I'd gladly pay the difference.

The Seekins PH1 comes with a proprietary carbon fiber mag.
