Stopped at Whitaker’s today and picked up a box of the 220 grain ELDX bullets for the 300 RUM.
My rifle is at a gunsmiths getting a Ross Schuler brake installed.
I have yet to shoot this rifle and really don’t plan on hunting with this bullet. Just getting components gathered up to get to shooting.
So any suggestions on loads using Retumbo or 8133? I have both on hand.
Thanks for load suggestions!

With the 220’s I’d start around 85grs with either powder and work up. I’m running the 200’s and 212’s so can’t help with specifics. On a side note you’ll love that Ross brake, made my RUM a pussycat with minimal barrel rise.
