Have Savage 99R, 250-3000, #739XXX 1954ish , original not drilled and tapped, nice wood, sharp checkering, now for the diehard collector, this one appears to be a reblue, somewhat lighter blue, takes on maybe a pewter blue?, not detracting to me at all, if that makes it a shooter, its a nice one. been in my safe for 30+ years, fired 3 rnds back then, had my collection of trying to get one of ea, caliber, sold off 5 years ago and hung on to this one and my 243, time to sell it now. $680. + $30 ship to your FFL, will put in an Allen soft case to. { Pics to be posted soon , Jeff has the knowhow} can e-mail pics if needed

Since it's been reblued maybe it's been restocked from an EG.

I'd say the man has been honest in his description of the gun.

The classifieds ain't really the best place to be throwing shade on a man's gun.

And thats another good thought, But I intended to put it on here as a clean shooter or huntin rig and it is still that, never sure on that Savage Collectin stuff... hope somebody lookin for a 250-3000 lever gun still
