Anyone know of a good source for a new/used threaded barrel for an SR22?
Numrich arms lists one for $67. but they're out of stock.
Cheaper than Dirt has 'em for a little over $120.
I have an early production SR22 that has a non-threaded barrel, and am waiting on my suppressor to be released to me.
It's going to be a while, but thought I should get all my options started.
Should be getting my Glock 44 in about 8 days, but will need a threaded barrel for it also.
Ideally, I'd like to find someone who has an SR22 W/threaded barrel, who will never use it, and trade for a nominal difference.
Thanks!

I just checked Brownell's web page, and they say the "kit" they have for a threaded barrel for an SR22 Ruger is only compatible with serial number above 361-7XXXX
That leaves me out, as mine is 360-XXXXX
Looks like I will have to trade pistols, or get this one threaded by a 'Smith.

I talked to my 'Smith and he says there isn't much "meat" on a thin barrel like the SR 22 has, so he didn't want to try threading it.
And they wouldn't give me enough out of mine on a trade for a threaded model to make that worth while.
There is another outfit that makes a threaded barrel for the earlier SR22, but it's about $175 W/adapter.
Looks like I'll just hang on to my SR22, and shoot it "as is" and get a threaded barrel for my new Glock 44 when I can get a factory threaded barrel for it.
I've got about 10 months before I'll need it anyway.

Find what you want and sell yours at a gun show or put it on consignment at a gun shop.
