New MGM K- Hornet barrel arrived yesterday. 1-12” twist, threaded and it’ll be looking for trouble. I have a 3-10x42 BRH Swarovski but thought I should ask the T/C boys what they would do.
Let’s hear it...
Thanks

Scope it in a fashion suitable for your chosen application. IMHO the cartridge is suitable to 300 or maybe a bit further....if you are. Plinkin' varmints or paper?

I think the 3 - 10 will work just fine. I have a 3-10 Bushnell 3200 on my K Hornet. It works.

Have gone back & forth a few times on glass on my K-Hornet, it is a 22" MGM barrel, also 1-12"......started with a 4-12x Baucsh & Lomb Elite on it some years ago, last year its had a Leupold 3-9xAO-EFR.

Your 3-10x42 BRH Swarovski should do just fine for you. I don't have that scope but the ones I have used have superb optics. Sometimes optic clarity trumps magnification..

I suspect I'll do the same but I feel pretty well this will put me off to a good start.
