The saw you can keep running. Dealer support. Picture me as John the Baptiste crying in the wilderness.

With churches called off today, this place could get a bit over the top. Don't mind me, carry on, you will anyway.

The one that starts.......and idles.
I retired from the Johns Manville asbestos pop tart factory in ‘59, and still never made the connection.—-Slumlord

The Makita/Dolmer was a favorite but was stolen. The old Stihl is still running and the Husky works well too and is first to use these days.

Chainsaws suck. The best one belongs to whichever buddy has one running at the time you need it.
That being said, I bought a Stihl MS 250 about 9 years ago. I bragged and bragged on that saw. It ran flawless until this past summer.
I tried a tune up kit, cleaned exhaust filter, etc. to no avail. I cussed and cussed that saw.
I finally hauled it almost 4 miles to a service dealer that didn't even exist when I bought the saw. The called the next morning and said it was ready. It needed a new carburetor. Right around $40 bucks total. Now I brag and brag on that dealer.
