As one of those who signed up for the new Haus of Arms Contenders, I've been looking around at options for stocks and grips. The conclusion I've reached is that there ain't much, and less that I like. Don't want thumbholes or grips with all kinds of extra wood on the bottom like the ones H of A sells.

Any hot tips?

Thanks.

Boyds, eBay, or gunbroker.

I found this Fajen set on gunbroker:

Pappy, Dave Dolin right there in WV makes some beautiful grip sets. Catch him on FB under that name or Poppi Dave.

Boyds too thick, but then one can always take that off.

I prefer the thinner Rynite TC stock. But it's set up for irons and if scoped, needs a cheekriser.
