OP skidboot77 Campfire Greenhorn S Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 56 South Alabama	My old Monarchs need replacing. I deer hunt south Alabama and I’m looking for some good low light binoculars for scanning green fields and pipelines in the late afternoons. My budget is $400 to $500. Watcha got????

I know cause I had them and I’m glad I pulled the trigger on a something decent. Meopros 10x42 were on sale for Black Friday for 349 The optikas were also on sale for 229? I can’t remember all the prices any more . Last edited by Dre; 01/19/20. All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

When i switched from 10x binocs to 8x, my head and eyes thanked me! Brighter, wider fov, much easier to hold steady.
