I really hate the term "mudshark". I have a 2nd cousin whose ex-husband(they met when serving together in the US Navy) was awfully dark complected...take that however you want. They have 2 daughters who are a couple of the most squared away people you would ever meet. Things didn't work out and that's how it is. Not sure what all the problems were, I know geography was a big part of it when the got out. Doesn't seen to be much for bad feelings on either side.
That's neither here nor there. The biggest problem I have is how hurtful that has to sound to their daughters who are 2 of the best charactered young ladies I know.
Of course, that means the vast majority of those cases end that way?
God bless those girls and I hope he keeps up with his child support.

So obviously bicycles have proven to be a way for a broke man to do.... something..... either for adventure or to run away from one’s problems by replacing ‘em with a simpler set of problems of the sort guys are better wired to handle. Like getting from Point A to Point B without getting run over or succumbing to heatstroke.
The coolest takeaways I have so far are taking the wrong ferry to France and ending up 250 miles from where I wanted to be (I was riding the solution 🙂 ), the other was riding a bicycle across West Texas last summer to the NM State Line, and then deciding to turn right and get to Montana by going up the Great Plains instead
On the other end of the spectrum an old motorcycle buddy of means recently flew him and his son to New Zealand and got helicoptered in to some remote mountain peaks where IIRC they hunted Himalayan taur or some such. Waaaaay out of my league.
Sadly that same guy seems to have also recently discovered that recreational drugs are the biggest thrill of all so I guess it’s all relative.
