PROBABLY OF INTEREST TO COLLECTORS.
I have never seen others of these.
Small green box with white lettering. 3.5 X 1 5/8 X 3/4 inches.

This appears to be an original Remington part. I've had it for about 25 years. (I think)
It is a set of scope rings made specifically for the cantilever equipped 870 and 11-87 barrel. The rings are in original packaging wrapped in a material similar to Saranwrap. Never been unwrapped. Box has been opened many times.

If I remember correctly, the first Remington factory cantilever slug barrels had a base that was not standard Weaver, but a different width. You had to have Remington rings specific to that base to mount your optics.

Original release of a FR Slug barrel had a long rail which required the ring set that came it which is most likely what you’re listing. Later release which is still current is a Weaver
Style base.

Received a PM pointing out Numrich sells a ring set that may be what I have - $20.00. They show a different number than what is on the box that I have.

I also have a set of these rings. Australia is stamped on each ring. The box I have says Made in Australia on the fourth side.
I have a 1100 and a 11/87 barrel that takes these rings, but both cantilevers have two sets of holes to mount Weaver bases to use Weaver rings.
