Pre 1974 scopes only had 5 or 6 numbers no letters. I just picked up a gloss version of this from an original owner with 6 numbers. Amazingly bright and clear for the age. Every bit as good as brand new VX2 Leupold sent me as a warranty replacement a year ago.
