This is a rare Winchester Low Wall Winder chambered in .22 Short. This rifle is US Ordnance marked. The rifle has great sold wood with no problems. The bore is bright and shiny all the way down. The action is crisp and the ejector spring snaps with authority. The metal is very nice with patina in places. The rifle comes with the original stock Lyman peep sight that was part of the military contract. Cross posted on other forums. Price is $695 shipped.

Back up for sale. Buyer said there was a wave toward the end in the barrel that he didn't like. I took a picture. It is one I have to rub my finger over to detect. Serial is 123xxx so according to the winchester collector's site it gave me a 1918 production date.
