Worked in 50 countries and 40 States. Think that qualifies the handle. TM

My handle is Mrs. Varminter because my husband loves to prairie dog hunt, and I originally came to the Fire in a quest to find a great Christmas gift for him.

I was hunting & shooting looong before I ever met him, but given my situation of starting up here, I thought it fun to have a name that referred to him.

2 reasons-
1. I like hunting bighorn sheep, and being involved in the preservation of their habitat,

2. I like hunting for Big Horns!!!

Aqualung, not because I'm a diver, but because I'm a Jethro Tull fan.

Name of their 1971 Album

No, that's not a self portrait and I don't spend my time "Sitting on a park bench, eying little girls with bad intent..." laugh

It was either that or "Warchild", another album of theirs. I was born during the Vietnam war, which would have made it a more discriptive name, but I thought Aqualung was better.

Aqualung

Panhandlepr---This came from our e-mail address. We are the pair who live in the panhandle of Idaho. I use the same name for most everything. Can't seem to remember too many of them anymore.

That album is on my personal list of top 10 albums of all time. Saw Tull in concert in West Berlin, they put on the second best live performance of anyone I've ever seen. Only the Stones topped them IMO.

My first name is Rick, and when I registered I was a BSA Scoutmaster. Now I am semi-retired from that position, but I still work with the troop.

My wife was looking for work on one of those internet job search web-sites. I jokingly asked her to find me a new job as well. She asked what sort of job I wanted. I told her professional hunter, fisherman, or secret agent. Whatever had the best dental.

I waited until she left the computer for a minute and did a search for a "professional wallaby wacker".

It has been a running joke in our house ever sense.
