If you have been brainwashed for decades that your side is the "normal" one, and all Conservatives are "extremists", you could believe this ridiculous statement. She isn’t entirely wrong, and definitely not when it comes to parties that have a chance on a national scale. US politics are fairly center in the grand scheme of things.
It could just as credibly be said about the Republican party and what most people here think of as “conservative”. You aren’t close to being right wing which many of the replies here demonstrate.
She's actually pretty good looking even though some here say she's a toad. The fact is that while beauty is only skin deep, liberalism goes clear to the bone.
