The Feds have a survey out from the finance department on pre-consultation for budget 2020. I would suggest doing the full survey and using the comments box. There is a question specific to gun violence and the controls they are proposing. https://financecanada.typeform.com/...nerDEZLi5iA_XI68WWsrEvbg_fjpumntrgfOlgsYWorth taking a look at and providing an opinion.

This is the type of bogus survey the liberals use to later claim they "consulted" Canadians before setting their agenda. The reality is they don't care how you answer the questions as their agenda has already been set by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

Shhh, Bill. Stop talking like a cynical, old fool. It solves nothing. If you believe what you wrote, then you absolutely must fill out the survey. Let them know that you're on to them. And for Pete's sake, stop preaching to the choir. Take your fight to the streets of Toronto. Here's another. https://petitions.ourcommons.ca/en/Petition/Details?Petition=e-2341

However staying silent is no an options. Writing letters, signing the petitions and pushing back using the other and comments field are options that need to be used.

The reality of the "streets of Toronto" unfortunately holds more weight in the eyes of politicians than two million law abiding citizens simply trying to enjoy their chosen lifestyle. Very few firearm enthusiasts ever consider a career in politics so we are destined to be governed by those that prefer committee meetings to open fields.

That's wonderful Bill, but not germane to the thread.
You continue to demonstrate why you are a has been. Follow the example of the others and fill out the petition and the survey. There's a good lad.

Good fellow. I don't believe you, but that doesn't matter.
Off you go.

In filling out the consultation it was very hard not to be very blunt in telling them what I really think. For anyone who hasn't filled it out you should realize that if you want to make comments, use the "Other" column and do not attempt to back up if you have later thoughts because by doing so you will wipe out any and all of your initial comments and you will have to start making them over again. I agree with the earlier comments of BillR that this is probably a bogus survey since I am sure the government has already made up their mind. Many of the choices given have no ranking and no way to assign rankings. Consequently the government can take the answers and spin them any way they want. In any case I did sign the petition and gave them my impressions of some of the proposals. Jim
