i don't think they were ever sold in this country, canada, yes, but in USA, no.
i have a kkw barreled action i had a stock cut with a duplicator, unable to find a real stock.
i would say it's worth some bucks.
the other 30's vintage german .22's are quite accurate.
i have one mid 30's mauser single shot .22, it's capable of beer can accuracy off hand at 70yards or so with iron sights.

Back in the early 1990's my gunsmith had a Norinco, Mauser .22 copy. The barrel was exceptionally accurate and he was amazed at that. He spent a lot of time smoothing the action and trigger. He actually installed a match rear sight and a globe front.

It wasn't the TU-KKW but it appeared to be the same action with a shorter, sporting contoured barrel. The target he showed me was impressive.

They were sold in the USA between 1991and 1993; banned import in 1993 by the Clinton Regime. I had an FFL back then and bought one in 1992: still have it. When the import ban from China went into effect spring of ‘93, Europe became the focus Market. I am now in my mid 60’s and no longer a good iron sights shooter. I have the original k98 style bolt which precludes a standard scope install. My long eye relief pistol scope has crosshairs that look like a pair of cigars making an X, so can’t attest to any super accuracy results. I thought it shot well enough to deserve a quality setup to see: but never followed through. I paid $129 for mine in 1992 out of the shotgun news, which we a printed paper back then!
