Exactly right. At 100 or less merely bracketing the chest between the thick parts will suffice. Looks prefect for both speed and precision as needed.

In a day when most scopes are 2.5-50x56 a medium variable really makes sense. powdr

Any more info on this? Was this a rumour going round or based on some fact?

I have one of these scopes on my .35 Whelen and it is nice and trim. However, it flares very badly when looking into the sun (rising or setting sun etc.).
